Maule's Red Seeds
Maule's Red Seeds
Description:
Description:
Maule's Red Pepper gets its name from William Henry Maule who introduced us to this pepper from his Philadelphia-based seed company in the early 1900s.
These pepper plants grow up to 3 ft. tall, but they boast heavy yields of these super-long hot, blood-red chili peppers. Expect these fruits to grow between 8-10" long with elongated pendant shapes and smooth, shiny skin, changing color from green to bright red color when they reach maturity. Maule's Red Pepper plants are easy to maintain and grow in your garden or in any other container you grow these plants in.
With their medium heat, it makes it perfect for drying and grinding into hot pepper flakes or to make salsas and hot sauces. One of the better-tasting Cayennes that will produce well even in northern areas!

Seedling germinated quick. One of the first hot pepper varieties to germinate with 6/6 germinating. (small sample size but for what its worth). All six are healthy without any issues. Growing uniformly about the same size, germinated within day of each other, more or less same all around and that is what you want when its still at seedling stage.
